Dear Backers,

Thanks for the energetic start to surveys!  We now have passed the $1,500 mark and I will mark the Air and Null dice as officially unlocked on the backerkit page.  We are almost 10% of the way to getting the physical card decks too!  

Thanks for your amazing support, we are already at 34% survey completion.  If the current trend continues we will likely unlock all the planned stretch goals from the campaign!  We sent the wire transfer to udixi for the first 50% today and they are prepping for the production run.

Survey Results, Smoke test Surveys, and More Good News!

Hello all,

Thank you all for the great responses to the interest survey yesterday.  We already had 77 responses come in and about $1700 in estimated pledge addons to unlock Air and Null so we will leave the survey up for those that want the 10% off coupon through Monday, but we will be unlocking Air and Null and sending the money to Udixi for the first half later today!  We are so incredibly excited to be able to make all 5 elemental series d10s and hope that we can raise enough extra to get our mold and prototypes of our next dice project, Steven's sneak attack d6s.  We got the surveys edited to add Air and Null as options when selecting your unlocked dice, let me know if you are unable to pick something you expected to.  Since we are over $7,000 under what we would have needed to unlock null via the stretch goal, for backers on the 16 dice tier that would have gotten a free null die at unlock I have split the difference and you will have a survey question asking if you would like to add a null die for our retailer price of $8 (or you can just choose a null die as some of your 16 at no extra cost).  

We got some community support as the survey link was posted around as well and we have our first bakerkit store preorder which came in at a whopping $238 so I am happy to post our first progress pie chart on our unlock coming in at over 15% before the first surveys send:

We will be unlocking the dice at this point even if we didn't get the full $1,500 we would just be losing money, so this is really the "yay we are helping the company stay funded" chart but we appreciate it anyway ;).

Speaking of the first surveys, our first 14 surveys, the "smoke test" were approved by backerkit and sent out just barely.  Please take a chance to answer if you received one of these and let us know if there are any problems.  I have added $5 credits to everyone that contacted us via email to claim the return backer bonus so watch for that as well.  If you won one of the giveaways during the campaign email us to remind me and I will add the credit for your free die after you select it in your survey (I will add the $15 to cancel out that charge) or add enough to cover your shipping if that is what you choose.

Thank you all so much for your support, we are excited to see if we get enough to get the item decks as well.  We do have pdf versions of the other classes that they have released so far on the website here if you want to check them out.

As soon as we get enough smoke test surveys back and get any feedback that comes from them, I will send the rest of the surveys and keep you all updated.

Another week delay on surveys but this time it is for good news! TEMP SURVEY INPUT NEEDED BY 5/2 INSIDE

Hello Backers,

We need to push surveys out another week but this time it is because of potential good news.  Udixi is in a little bit of a lull right now (They are a huge company so it isn't that much but they have time to run a project without too much overtime) so they offered to let us make the dice at a lower Minimum Order Quanitity (MOQ) if we can put in the order and get 50% paid for by next week and if we unlock air at least and possibly null.  I ran the numbers, and with the decreased MOQ we can order at least 400 of each color (which is more than enough for all the kickstarter orders and some inventory) if we raise at least $1500 in Backerkit in new funds.  Since we only need to put 50% down and we raised enough to unlock all 3 colors that were unlocked in the campaign I have the cash available to put in the first half of the order as long as we will raise at least the $1500 in backerkit before the dice are finished and ready to mail.

Please take the time to answer so we can gauge if we will be able to raise $1500 extra so that I can give Udixi their answer.  This is not your backerkit survey, but a presurvey.  Because the results will determine whether I need to build all 5 options into the surveys or not as unlocked I need to wait until after the survey results on Monday to finalize the surveys we have been working on.

We are almost ready to release surveys and finally have the coin samples

Hello Adventurers,

We received the funds from Kickstarter yesterday and got the final imports from Kickstarter into Backerkit so that we can work on finalizing the surveys and sending them for approval.  We yesterday received the offical coin samples so I can finally show you what they look like for production.  You will get one of each of these with your order and extras can be added in backerkit for $5 a piece.

Remember that once you get your backerkit survey, we will not be collecting shipping at this time to be able to collect closer to actual fulfillment in case of price fluctuations so all you will be charged for this time is your addons unless your payment failed on Kickstarter.

The approval process can take up to a week as Backerkit works with us on tweeking things or as little as a few days so it will be a bit before you see your surveys still but I wanted to let you know where we are at.  I have already put in the orders for Earth, Fire, and Water d10s with Udixi last night. 

As to the Backerkit stretch goals, I checked with Session Zero Games on the warlock decks and we need to raise $800 if we want PDFs available and $2000 if we want physical decks.  I have cut the goal down to reflect that and will add a followup question to allow you to mark whether you would want the pdf if that were all the funds we received or physical only.

Thanks so much for all your work and support!  If we can get to $15,000+ by closing tomorrow we will unlock Air $1500 early and shift down all goals by that amount when entering backerkit.  If we don’t make it to $15,000 tomorrow we will keep the goal at $16,450 to cover the extra costs of raising the money in backerkit.  Also the first 10 seasonal box subscriptions signed up for by tomorrow will have the current payment fully counted toward your kickstarter unlock and all subscribers can opt to receive their dice with their subscription to avoid paying double shipping.
